Step 10
Set the bottom limit

- Run the blind all the way down and totally unwind it back to the bare metal on the roller — don't take it right off.
- Then take it back up to the window sill and lock the bottom limit in there.
Recommended troubleshootingCommon questions for this step
Why unwind it all the way to the bare tube first?
Running the fabric right off and back on makes sure it rolls up flat and even. Then take it back up and set the bottom limit at the window sill, so the bottom bar seals against the sill.
If you hit a snag
The bottom bar stops short of the sill, or runs past it.
Reset the bottom limit — run the blind to exactly where you want it to stop at the sill and lock the limit there (bring it up a touch first if it's overshooting). The limits are adjustable, so you can redo it as many times as you need.
