Step 14
Fit the first side track
- Bring the blind down a little so it's easier to work and one side doesn't pull the other out.
- Start the track up a bit higher so it clears the top caps, slide it in, and butt it hard against the front of the pelmet.
- With the track hard up to the top it runs a straight line, level with the reveal. On smaller windows, one screw halfway in holds it — you don't have to drive it all the way yet.

If you hit a snag
The side track won't sit straight.
Make sure it's butted hard against the front of the pelmet and pushed up to clear the top caps before you screw it.
