Content Submission and Media Usage Terms

Last updated: 27 May 2026

These terms govern photos, videos, reviews and other content you submit to Midnight Anytime Blinds — for example via the Share Your Experience page. This is a working draft. Final legal wording (consent and indemnification clauses, contact email) requires Sam + legal review before launch.

1. About this page

These terms apply to any content you submit to Midnight Anytime Blinds (“MAB”, “we”, “our” or “us”), including:

  • Photos and videos of your blinds, room or install.
  • Written reviews, comments and customer stories.
  • Any other user-generated content (UGC) shared with us through our forms, email or social channels.

By submitting content to MAB, you agree to these terms.

By submitting content, you give Midnight Anytime Blinds permission to use that content for marketing and communication purposes, including the uses listed in section 7 below.

You may withdraw this consent at any time by contacting us (see section 10). Withdrawal is forward-looking — we can stop new uses, but we cannot recall content already published or distributed.

(Note: consent and licence wording to be reviewed by legal before launch.)

3. Ownership and licence

You keep ownership of the content you submit. You grant MAB a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to use, reproduce, adapt, edit, publish and distribute the content for the purposes set out in section 7.

This licence is granted for as long as we keep using the content in line with these terms.

4. Permissions and rights

By submitting content, you confirm that:

  • You own the content, or you have permission from the person who does, to share it with us under these terms.
  • The content does not infringe anyone else's copyright, trademark or other rights.
  • You have not been paid by a third party to submit the content as if it were your own.

Do not submit content you do not have the right to share — for example, photos you found online, images from another brand, or video clips you do not have a licence for.

5. Privacy and other people

Please do not submit content that identifies other people without their consent. This is especially important for photos and videos that include children, neighbours, employees or anyone else who has not agreed to appear.

If you submit content that features other people, you confirm that you have their permission for MAB to use that content as described in these terms.

6. Content review

We review submissions before using them. We may decline to use content for any reason, including if:

  • It does not fit our brand or product story.
  • It contains unverified claims (for example about sleep, health or energy outcomes).
  • It identifies third parties without consent.
  • The image or video quality is too low for our use cases.
  • We have any concerns about ownership or rights.

Declining a submission does not mean there is anything wrong with it. It just means we are not going to use it.

7. How we may use your submission

If we choose to use your submission, we may use it for purposes including:

  • Display on the MAB website (for example in galleries, case studies, product pages and reviews).
  • Social media posts and stories.
  • Paid advertising on platforms such as Meta, Google and YouTube.
  • Email marketing and newsletters.
  • Internal materials, presentations and partner communications.

We may edit, crop, resize or add captions or overlays as needed for each format. We will not alter the content in a way that misrepresents what you said or showed.

8. Removal and revocation

You can ask us to stop using your content at any time. Contact us at the details in section 10 and tell us what you would like removed.

We will act on reasonable removal requests promptly. Please note:

  • We can remove content from places we control (such as our website and our active social posts).
  • We may not be able to remove or recall content from media already printed, distributed or run as paid advertising. We will, however, stop placing new ads or new uses.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify MAB against claims brought by third parties to the extent those claims arise from content you submit that breaches these terms — for example, claims about ownership, copyright, image rights or privacy.

(Note: indemnification scope to be reviewed by legal before launch.)

10. Contact
