Cookie, Tracking and Advertising Notice

Last updated: 25 May 2026

This notice explains how Midnight Anytime Blinds uses cookies, tracking technologies and advertising tools. This is a working draft. Final legal wording requires review before launch.

Tracking and advertising integrations are not currently active during the website rebuild. They will be reviewed and enabled with appropriate consent mechanisms before launch.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help the site work, remember your preferences, measure performance and — when enabled — support advertising.

Similar technologies (such as pixels, tags and local storage) work in comparable ways. In this notice we refer to all of these collectively as “cookies and tracking technologies.”

2. Cookies and tracking technologies we use

When enabled, the cookies and tracking technologies on our site fall into the following categories:

  • Essential — required for the site to work, including the configurator, cart and checkout. These cannot be turned off.
  • Functional — remember your preferences (such as recently viewed products or saved measurements).
  • Analytics — measure how visitors use the site so we can improve performance and content.
  • Advertising — help us show relevant ads on other sites and measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns.

We will list the specific vendors and cookies in use once tracking is enabled.

3. Analytics and tracking technologies

Where enabled, we may use the following analytics and tracking technologies:

  • Google Analytics — to understand how visitors find and use our site.
  • Google Tag Manager — to manage tags and scripts on the site.
  • Meta Pixel — to measure ad performance and reach relevant audiences on Meta platforms.
  • Conversions APIs (server-side) — to send privacy-preserving conversion events to advertising platforms with hashed identifiers.

Each of these is operated by a third party with its own privacy policy. We share only the data needed to operate the service.

4. Advertising and remarketing

Where enabled and with appropriate consent, we may use advertising platforms — including Meta Ads and Google Ads — to show ads to people who have visited our site or who match audiences we build from our customer data.

We do not share unhashed personal information with advertising platforms. Where customer data is used for advertising, identifiers (such as email or phone number) are hashed before sharing.

5. Your choices

You can control cookies and tracking in several ways:

  • Use your browser settings to block or delete cookies. Most browsers let you control cookies through their settings menu.
  • Use platform opt-out tools — for example, Google's Ads Settings or Meta's ad preferences — to limit personalised ads.
  • Enable your browser's “do not track” signal if you prefer.
  • Use the consent banner on our site (once launched) to set your preferences for non-essential cookies.

Blocking essential cookies may prevent parts of the site (such as the configurator or checkout) from working correctly.

6. Server-side tracking

We may use server-side tracking endpoints to send analytics and conversion events to platforms such as Google and Meta. Server-side tracking is designed to improve data quality and privacy.

When we use server-side tracking, personal identifiers (such as email or phone number) are hashed before being sent. Events are deduplicated against client-side pixels using a shared event identifier so the same action is not counted twice.

7. Third-party services

When you place an order or interact with our site, your information may pass through trusted third-party services, each with its own privacy policy. These include:

  • Payment processors — to handle payment securely.
  • Couriers and logistics providers — to ship DIY kits.
  • Smart home connectors (such as Google, Alexa and Amazon Home) — only if you choose to link your SmartHub.
  • Email and SMS providers — to deliver order updates and (where you have consented) marketing communications.

We only share what is needed for these services to work.
